Happy Thanksgiving!

Just a quick post to say Happy Thanksgiving today! We are traveling and visiting family and loved ones this week, but I wanted to wish you a happy day full of thanks and love! I hope you have a wonderful holiday today. After almost 7 years of Kendi Everyday, I’m so thankful that you stop by each day. You make my day brighter without even knowing it, so thank you friends for following along. I don’t always get to say thank you so… THANK YOU! I’m pretty sure we’d all be real life friends. Happy...

In the Grey

I think I said this the other day but this time of year I slowly start finding myself in shades of black and grey. I find that grey and neutral sweaters are the easiest to pair with my denim in the winter. Therefore I’ve decided to expand my love for all things grey with this snakeskin tote from Vince Camuto. I have long been a fan of a tote bag for any season, but this one feels perfect for the cooler months. Something about the texture and the cool shade of grey, fits in just right with my winter...

(Buffalo) Plaid Please

I always find myself looking for some kind of buffalo plaid each fall. I think I was hooked ever since my first plaid button down. An Afternoon by Lake Lucerne

Since we landed in Zurich, we stayed a few days there and then hopped on a train to Lucerne. Beautiful trees with changing leaves line the walkway and benches are placed at the edge, right near the water so it’s the perfect view over coffee. We ended up staying...

Gift Ideas for the Girl on the Go

We have been traveling a lot this year, so I’ve had many chances for trial and error when it comes to curating my travel bag and my essentials for on the go. I’ve also had time to really hone in on what I like to wear during travel days or days we spend walking the cities we explore. This outfit is one of my favorites from our Switzerland trip, so far. It’s perfect for hopping on the train and taking a side trip to another city. Of course, how can anyone go wrong with a camel sweater and plaid...

My Everyday Uniform

Since I started to work from home, I’ve come up with a few habits that I have to abide by in order to get all of my work down. My number one rule? Always get up and get dressed for work. I find that if I get up early, get ready and go into my office just like I would if I worked elsewhere than my house, then it will lead to a more productive and successful day. Every single time. And yes, even down to the shoes. And I have a certain formula for this look – I...
