Home Updates To Do This Weekend.

I think there comes a point in your twenties where you use your weekends wisely, and I definitely try my hardest to make the most of the two days I have away from my desk!Although I still haven’t toned down my social life (I have at least swapped night clubs for late night, cocktail filled dinners!), I usually reserve a day for catching up on life admin! I spend a few hours tidying up my house – basically punishment for the night before – and rearranging a little, I think rearranging your rooms is a free way of getting...

Stationery Essentials For Staying On Track.

I’m a true stationery addict, and I really don’t think I could get by without the notebooks, sticky notes and washi tape I get through in a day! I recently went a little crazy stocking up for the new year (see the haul video here), so I thought I’d pick out my daily essentials for staying on track… The first thing I do when I sit down at my desk in the mornings is make a list of tasks for the day, so my Rifle Paper Let’s Do This pad is an absolute must! Lazy Sunday Mornings.

To me, a lazy Sunday should always involve cups of hot coffee, Death Cab’s Narrow Stairs on the record player and a Diptyque candle burning – after a busy week I need some time to decompress a little, and prep for the week ahead. It’s a staple part of our morning that we never seem to skip; a sleepy routine that we’ve mastered over the years and now look forward to through the week! Maybe my house is piled high with recycling, maybe I’m making to-do lists filled with tasks I’ve already completed, but I light a dreamy scented candle and I finally feel...

A Place To Store My Jewels.

I’m slowly moving my trinkets, jewels, lotions and potions in to the bedroom – most of these bits were previously stored in my office room, so I was excited to rehome them in a proper space when I decided to turn the office in to an actual real workspace. I knew I would use the new faux fireplace (post and video coming!) to store my favourite pieces, and so I asked Jordan for some jewellery storage for Christmas. He did not disappoint, finding a treasure trove of marble and brass goodies on which I could store all my favourite...

2017 Goals.

Where oh where has the time gone? I feel like 2016 went unbelievably fast, but it was also quite a… I don’t know, an eventful year – and not always for the right reasons! Overall, I had a really great year. I definitely achieved more than I had hoped, and I feel quite content as I enter 2017. Here’s some goals I’m hoping to achieve this coming year, something I always love to do as it’s always fun to look back on this time next year! 01. Plan a wedding! I’m still floating on a little loved-up cloud after...
